PRP for Hairloss
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is a medical treatment used to reduce hair fall and improve hair density by stimulating weak hair follicles.
In this procedure, a small amount of the patient’s blood is processed to concentrate platelets rich in growth factors. This PRP is then injected into the scalp under medical supervision to improve blood supply, strengthen hair roots, and support new hair growth.
PRP is most effective in early to moderate hair thinning and is recommended only after evaluating the cause of hair loss, scalp condition, and overall health.
Treatment protocols are personalised, and PRP is not advised when it is unlikely to benefit the patient.

PRP with microneedling is an advanced approach where PRP is combined with controlled scalp microneedling to enhance results.
Microneedling creates micro-channels in the scalp, which:
Improves blood circulation
Increases absorption of PRP
Activates dormant hair follicles
PRP applied during or after microneedling penetrates deeper, allowing growth factors to work more effectively at the root level.
This combination is especially useful for diffuse thinning, early pattern hair loss, and reduced hair density, where follicles are weak but still active.
PRP with microneedling is recommended only after scalp evaluation and is avoided in cases where inflammation, infection, or advanced baldness is present.
